Diamond Christmas Pressie

My dear, dear dh gave me this lovely diamond dress ring for Christmas. It's 0.75tcw, H/SI (min) rounds and baguettes, set in 18ct yellow gold.

Jen - no that''s my wedding finger! I''ll be wearing this ring on my third finger, right hand, but in order to take the pics I put it on my left hand.

Ka - it''s 0.75 (total carat weight) I did try on a full one carat version, but it didn''t look as nice somehow. It was to big for my size hand, I think.

Thank you so much. I love the way the baguettes flash at me while the rounds twinkle and wink. It's the prettiest cluster I've seen and I also like the not too obvious symbolism of the cross shape made by the baguettes. Very apt for a Christmas gift, I think.

Jen - I know the feeling only too well.

Actually I did have lovely sparklies from both my children. My son gave me a ruby and diamond bracelet and my daughter gave me an aquamarine and diamond necklace. I know, I'm so spoiled - when it comes to presents, all my family really know what makes me smile.

I'd post pics but they're both in the safe and at the moment my old freezer's blocking it (a new freezer was our new years gift to ourselves). As soon as dh shifts it out of the way I'll get them out and take pics of them.
