While looking around for wedding bands that would match my current heirloom engagement ring, I came across a lovely semi-eternity band from DiamondGeezer.com that has an antique-y style that might look ok with my engagement ring or on its own (although it's got milgraining and my ring doesn't--don't know it that would be weird?). Anyway, I was just wondering if anyone had bought diamonds from them and could vouch for getting what you paid for. I did a search and saw that Pandora has recommended them, but don't know much detail. Anyone use them before?

Here is the ring. 0.5cts F VS "premium cut" stones in an 18K gold setting, 2.7mm wide, for £791. Here is a link to the ring: click me!

I can''t comment on the site.

But I remember seeing the owner on Dragon''s Den. He was rejected by the Dragons.

I didn''t take the to man and would not be enthused to buy from him online. Not to mention the name is not confidence inspiring.

gwendolyn - I have never bought from them before, but another PSer, LovingDiamonds has used them before. I think they''ve even done some custom pieces for her, and she''s been quite happy. She''s over in the Colored Stones forum a lot, so maybe post your question over there.

Not only have I bought diamonds for them but they''ve made custom pieces for me also. I think I''ve probably had 30 items made to date. I''ve been more than happy with all of them - and believe me, if you knew me, you''d know that was saying something!

The diamonds I''ve bought from them have been exceptionally good quality and I haven''t been able to find the same elsewhere on a carat for carat, colour for colour, clarity for clarity basis. I wouldn''t hesitate to recommend them.

BTW the Dragons Den programme? That''s brought them so much business their phone is ringing off the hook at the moment because it''s being re-run on the Dave channel at the moment. Unfortunately a diamond pendant they''re making for me at the moment has been delayed because of it. I don''t mind though because it''ll be worth the wait!!!

I''m expecting a delivery from diamondgeezer tomorrow - the chameleon diamond in my avatar that they''ve set into a custom made ring that I''ve had designed in CAD.

Here''s a few of the items they''ve made for me ................ all the diamonds you see are from them (apart from the red diamond).

Don''t suppose you have any eternity-type rings from them, do you?

Knock me down with a feather.

They are some beautiful pieces. I am happily surprised!

Gwendolyn - I do have an eternity ring from them but not the same as you''re looking at. What I would say is that if you speak to Clive (the owner/dad) or Luke (son) they''ll make something to your budget (if it''s possible of course)! If you need minor modifications to one of their standard pieces they will do that as well. Give them a call. I promise you won''t be sorry!

Steel - I completely agree about their name! I hate it because it doesn''t give the right/correct impression. However, as Clive said to me once "you won''t forget it" and he''s right! In fact, once you''ve bought from them, the customer service brings you back again and you end up forgetting the name!!!! BTW they hold the record of being the longest in the Dragons Den, apparently hours were cut from the programme!
