Diamond Size & Band thickness..

What does .51 stone look like and .61 ?? Anyone have one of these in this size?

I "built" a ring that I just love... let me tell you about it..

Miligrain diamond setting 1/5ct. with a Marquise .61 and .51 (not sure what they look like so not sure which one I like yet) stone.
Color E is that ok?? Oh in Platnuim or white gold.. not sure yet.

Not sure what else I should know! lol
I am loving marquise stones for some reason... they seem outdated compared to what everyone has today are they?? I really love them!

And, thickness of bands, I want something thicker in mm''s because I have thicker fingers.. So, what is a good size but not gaudy??

it depends on the cut and the dimensions. there can be a wide range of sizes depending on the cut of the stone. you can look in the ''e-ring eye candy folder'' in show me the ring. there is also a thread on stones under 1ct. i think the title is ''show me your under 1ct. stones'' or something like that. just do a search for it.

oh! marquise shape...well.. they vary in size. some are more ''fat'' while others are long and ''skinny'' it totally depends on the dimensions size wise. average for that size may be something like 7.0mmx4.0mm
''e'' is a great choice in the colorless range.
platinum or wg? it''s a personal preference.

not sure what else you want to know!

marquise stones were all the rage in the late 80''s-early 90''s. they''re not as popular today, but i''m sure they''ll come back into style at some point.

4mm would be an average size band. it just depends on the look you are going for.
