Diamond studs recut by Brian Gavin - before and after

@ILikeShiny so he does do custom cutting for ECs. I had him searching for a rough stone for me for about four months, to no avail. I talked to him quite a bit about this, I was fully prepared to have him do this for me, but the De Beers situation right now is not yielding very many rough diamonds. I needed about an 8ct rough and that just was not happening. So... I gave up on this and bought my current EC! But I have no doubt Brian can cut an amazing EC!! “If” I ever upgrade again, I will go through Brian for a custom cut!

It is interesting to see the difference between the projected outcome and the actual outcome. It is nice that you didn't lose a lot of diameter. Those hearts and arrows are amazing! :love: I can't wait to see photos of the finished earrings. I am sure they will be stunning!
 
The collages show that the newly recut stones will be CRISP!! Congrats.
 
I want to see the finished product! Every time there’s an update I come back hoping to see the glamour shots after being set.
