Did we get ripped? White gold turned yellow.

I only had my engagement ring for 2 weeks and I noticed it started to turn yellow. I took it in and they sent it awayto put that rhodium plating on it. Just noticed today that there is still yellow showing. Did my fiance get ripped off and what should I do?

White gold is not really white - it should be nickel grey colored.
But it should not be yellow, even under the plating.
It sounds not good, you need an independant appraisers opinion.
