Hey guys,
newbie here. I have a bit of a dilemma that I’m hoping you guys could provide advice on.
I have placed a deposit on a Canadian diamond which is absolutely beautiful to propose to my girlfriend in the coming months. It is a 1.54ct IF, ex ex ex no fluroescence. Valued at approx $28,000 through brilliant earth.
After more investigation and learning I have been told that the origin of the diamond is only on the insurance paperwork and not on the GIA certificate and it also has no Canada diamond watermark.
should I be concerned? Does it matter? Would you pick a new diamond based on this? I absolutely love it. But this is bothering me.
