OMG guys! BGD matched the stone from my pendant and my new studs will be here on the 23rd!!! My glamour shots will be emailed tomorrow and I can't wait to share them! This is perfect timing for my year of ME, when I just focus on myself and give myself the things I've always wanted!

Wow guys! This thread resurfaced and I realized that I never shared my glamour shots of my BGD re-cut and pendant. 3 years later, my life has changed a lot but I still adore these pieces and am so happy with both decisions! I ended up going with a custom modification of the BGD martini setting. I preferred 4 prongs to 3 and I think they did an amazing job. I’ve worn this pendant on a pretty daily basis and I really love it. The setting is super comfortable and never flips. I love the delicate chai in and the way the diamond seems to float. I usually forget that it used to be my e-ring because the re-cut and new home feel so different to me. So here are the glamour shots!

And in more life (and jewelry) updates, I got engaged this year and my fiancé has no problem with me wearing these pieces. My engagement ring is totally different and perfect to me (OMC cluster ring) and I love how my collection is shaping up. Mostly though, I’m just really happy with my life these days.
