they move on my desktop but not on this, my laptop also - the allure of belle''s avatar meant nothing to me until I saw it on my desktop LOL. My desktop is a new computer and this laptop is gosh... at least 5 years old. I have no idea why they don''t move here..... but its okay I know what they do LOL

OK, this is strange. I went to post the tapping guy finger, and the file name was changed in my picture folder. And when I changed it back, it wouldn''t post, and it wouldn''t post with the name it had changed to either....

For instance, this one WAS named "lol", but when I attatched it, it came up with this file name, but, it WILL post, some won't no matter what I do...

AND, it didn't come out right.

once a name for a file has been posted, it can't be posted again no matter how unique, or ununique (haha...is that a word?) the filename is. i always know when a filename has already been used because it will reject my attachment. of course, if the attachment was too big and it was rejected, you still can't use that file name again because the system picks it up anyway and won't allow a dup. perhaps the gifs that you are posting have already been posted at some point and the system is reading that you want that file. i don't know...just thinking of reasons they are coming up weird (if i am understanding you correctly)

it''s a pop up, so it might not be coming up if your pop up blocker is on.

I understand what you're saying. Here's the deal.

I have used the "waiting" icon several times. Each time I use it, I change the number on the end of it, so it then has a "new" name. That's not my problem. My problem is (among many, lol) is 1. I have some I've used, but now when I try to attatch it, it comes up with entirely different name in the attatch box, that belongs to something else and 2. sometimes I can change it back to what it should be and it comes out right, but sometimes it's the wrong pic (like the xmas av).

In my picture folder, everything is named as it should be, it's only when I try and attatch one that I may see a different file name. And it's looking like what has happened is, the names and pictures have somehow gotten switched. I tried to post one, and it came up Leon Mege, which I do have pics of.

I don't know what the heck is wrong. I've scanned them (nothing found), ran SpyBot, still screwed up.....
