The underwear analogy cracks me up almost as much as the vajazzling comment did - though I can see how it's at the core of "mind-clean." I *do* love how studs look, but it's hard to feel elegant in CZ ... and while I've considered the other, uh, white stones ( ), the good ones are pricey enough that I always think, "Damn, I could find something real for that, if I looked hard enough!" But I do wonder if I'll be going overboard by getting a branded cut (the August Vintage Rounds tempt me mightily) - if, like TG says, maybe it'd be better to just get something bigger now (like something from Erica and Grace), and not bother with a company that does upgrades. Decisions, decisions!

I think I'm leaning towards buying a pair, but from a dealer with an excellent upgrade policy: if, after a year or three I find myself gnashing my teeth about the opportunity lost (in my hair), I'll swap 'em in for something. After all, it's not like the shiny obsession is going anywhere ....

I have three pairs of earrings I feel odd when I change them out....but they make me feel properly dressed!

Not as much... things I can't see seem to be more about adorning oneself or in other words - what OTHER people can see or think of you... and that doesn't make my heart tick so much... this is probably the #2 reason I haven't upgraded my earrings. (#1 is DH did them all on his own and that's just so dang sweet if you knew him lol) When I get a pendant I want it to be long enough for me to see... but I am definitely more about the rings or maybe a bracelet. I brought my earrings to China but not my ring and I feel like I'm starving for bling. I can only see my diamonds if I take them out and they're far from ideal so I'm jut not getting a good fix...
