Do you ever wake up with a random song in your head?

I have done this my whole life, and it''s usually a song I haven''t heard in ages, or don''t know all the words to (of course - then it means I repeat the one part I DO know over, and over, and over...)

This morning it was the Electric Slide. It''s electric! Gah~!

LOL about the electric slide.

yes, actually, it is the song I heard right before I went to bed "hey soul sister" by Train, but it does not happen too often though.

I usually don't wake up with one in my head, but this morning I was flipping through my Weight Watchers magazine and saw an ad where two ladies were sitting on a dock talking... fast forward about 10 minutes and I am flat ironing my hair humming "Under the Boardwalk".

Yes! How does this happen? I sometimes wonder if they''re playing in my dreams, because I''ll wake up with a song in my head that I haven''t heard or thought of in years!

Then again, the other day I woke up and realized in my dream I had been reciting lines from a play I haven''t been in in ten years. The lines were right, too.

Yes and it drives me crazy!

All the time…my fiance likes to sing me awake. As romantic as this sounds, it''s not all it''s cracked up to be. If my baby had a voice, like say, Josh Groban, I may be more enthused.

His singing voice is more along the lines of Alfalfa from the Little Rascals. You haven''t lived till you''ve heard Alfalfa belting out "I''m walkin'' on sunshine…yeah…yeah" at 6 am

LMFAO! That is awesome!

That happens to me all the time! That is so funny. I thought I was the only one. It makes no sense.

My most memorable ones are the Ghostbusters and some song, I think it was from the 80''s but the only part that I knew was "Girls on Film". So I was walking around all morning like that. Embarrassing.

I keep waking up to "Cowboy Casanova" by Carrie Underwood

...yes, really

I''ve only done it once in my life that I can actually remember. It was back when J and I were in full swing with wedding preparations. Long story short, the invitation company made a change to our invitations without informing us, so I decided to add a few rhinestones to jazz them up. J came home from work, took one look and said, "Oh, I like the bling!" and proceeded to walk around the house singing "Like a rhinestone cowboy" for days. I started waking up with that song stuck in my head, and unfortunately those words are the only lyrics either of us knew.

LOL PT!!!

Yesterday I woke up with "Tomorrow" from Annie stuck in my head. But not regular "Tomorrow", the version from "Serial Mom" when Kathleen Turner is beating a woman with a leg of lamb. How''s that for odd.

Not when I wake up but when London was little and watched the Wiggles a lot, I''d be at work and realize I was singing Henry the Octopus (or whatever random song from the show) in my head and then once I noticed it, it was like the Wiggles were taunting me...like Dumbo and the pink elephants on parade.

Tho now I''m walkin on sunshine thanks to vancity!

I keep hearing Lady Gaga at work so "poker face" is usually what''s in my head

sometimes I feel like my brain is on random- who knows what song will pop up next

lol.

I hate it when a song gets in my head, and its one of those songs I just want to belt out, but there''s a ton of people around or I would get complaints from neighbors from my singing
38.gif
so I refrain. Unless I''m with a roommate I want to embarrass, then I sing to them, lol.

"Girls on Film" was a song by Duran Duran. I loooove me some Duran Duran!

As for songs in my head, it happens all the time. When I wake up, when I''m going to sleep, randomly during the day... lately it''s been "Find My Way" by The Gabe Dixon Band.

This happens to me almost everyday.

When it''s Taylor Swift, I just want to end it all.

Absolutely!

Flight of the Conchords, "Choir of Ex girlfriends (Carol Brown)", has been rotating in my head for days now! I woke up with it this morn, and realized it had also featured in my pre-waking dreams, lol!

It is really catchy (like all their stuff) and completely hilarious.

"I thought I told you to shut-uuhhup"...ROFLMAO!

anyone with a quirky sense of humour *must* watch it -

I always have a song in my head.

I can''t get the theme from True Blood out of my head

Tuesday morning I woke up with "Don''t Cry for me Argentina" from Evita stuck in my head. NO IDEA where that one came from.

*Update*

This morning my fiance wakened me with a rousing rendition of:

Having My Baby by Paul Anka

(just for the record, even though I may have a little tummy pooch, I am not ''with child''

)

I *detest* that song

Yes! I woke up with "Hit Me Baby One More Time" in my head Wednesday morning. And then I caught myself singing it while walking the dog.

It was ridiculous. I am neither a fan, nor was I looking for someone to hit me. Baby.
