Do you have a signature color? Would your friends, family and co-workers associate you with a particular color?

Ever since my mom had a "Color Me Beautiful" party at our house when I was young, I''ve known "my" colors; i.e., that I am a "spring" and I know what colors are (supposedly) most flattering for my skin tone, although I have yet to see "camel" as something that works for me.

Anyway, I was curious if other people stick to a few specific colors. I always associate people with colors. My signature colors
are pink, aqua/teal/turquoise, and brown (not all together).

hehe...Blonde!

There are only a few days out of the month that I don''t wear black or white. Jeans and a black top, beige slacks and a black top, black pants white button up... etc, etc. I always have freshly painted nails(normally a neutral pinky/mauve color), plum toned eye makeup, and a translucent berry lip tint. I never feel put together when I have brightly colored things on. If I do wear something with color people really notice. I don''t wear browns at all. I can handle beige pants but never shirts.

... I do carry oddly bright purses, however.

black

I love black. And I love neutrals like khaki, brown and navy. But I also love burgundy, pink, and aqua blue and apple or soft greens. HATE bright orange red or yellow on me. My skin is too sallow for them. Too much white is not great for me either, I need to break it up.

I wear lots of colors, but I have more things in dark navy than anything else. That''s definitely my color.

I wear warm fall colors like red, brown, orange, etc. They look best with my skin.

Ausable,

I have dark hair so I think I am a winter. I love Red, navy, black and blues like the ocean. Your kiddos are sooooo CUTE!!!! The baby is adorable; they look so sweet.

Skippy,

Thanks so much! My boys are the light of my life. They got a mix of my coloring and my husband''s (he is Indian). My older son has gorgeous olive skin and almost black eyes which everyone notices when we are out together (I have light blue eyes) and my younger one has skin as pale as mine and hazel eyes. (I am very aware of what colors I dress them in also

). Ha ha, they''ll be the only boys who know they are "fall".

I have light brown hair and dark brown eyes with olivey-fair skin (it's hard to describe) and I mostly wear navy blue (I adore navy), cool pink and brown. FH LOVES me in pink. Occasionally, I'll wear black, light blue and grey.

It's rare to see me in anything bright, because it just doesn't look good with my skin tone.

(beach genes). As for colors...I was just putting some laundry away and noticed that the dominant colors in my closet are pink, blue, black, brown, and white. I used to wear a lot of black, but, I don''t so much anymore. Pants are usually a neutral color, though...More often than not I am in jeans.

I have light Irish skin and dark brown hair. I wear a lot of blue (slate is my favorite), cranberry/burgandy, and green (sage is my favorite). I also wear khakis a lot and black, too, just ''cause they go with everything.

I have dark brown hair, pale pink-ish freckled skin, and hazel green-ish eyes. I really love olive/army green cause it makes my eyes look greener, but it''s hard to find clothes in that color. I usually like chocolate brown, black, ivory/winter white, and greys as well.

I generally don''t wear bright colors, it makes me look pale. Plus it just doesn''t match my introversion

Camel is another color that really looks weird on me. With my skin''s pink undertones, it just clashes.

These days I can mostly be found in head-to-toe periwinkle blue, though - the color of my hospital''s scrubs.

I wear blacks, blues. Hot pink looks HORRRRRRRRible on me, lavender too. Light blue may be the best color for me as it is the color of my eyes.... blue is probably the color I wear most, blue and black... I like black for the contrast against my fair skin. Black turtle necks with red lips! haha I wish I looked better in browns.

I love white and heather gray. I''m pale/freckly with red/blonde hair

Don''t know about "signature" ... does denim count? I''d almost say WHITE -- I just love a nice, crisp white shirt .. or white sweater ... or white t-shirt ... or white jacket ... or pearls. Choc. brown is another biggie in my wardrobe recently. A nice relief from all the black I *used* to wear in NYC.

On OTHER people -- I love green. I find green on fellas particularly

. Always have! What a blessing that green looks amazing with DH''s coloring, stawberry blondish hair & LIGHT GREEN EYES.

Deco, I think brown is the new black again! I also love greens, and love a great white shirt but think they drain my face and I am pale as it is...I think it is a wardrobe staple anyway though, so I wear them, but need to make sure I have some makeup on so no one calls the doctor!!!

I'm not sure, can you guys help me pick a color?? Deco???

LOL!!!!

Ok it's blue. Powder blue, slate blue, and aqua blues.

hmmm i don't know if i have just one signature color. but people associate me with blues and greens. i love accents for the house in greens, i have tons of them in diff shades of green and just kind of rotate through them and move them around the house. the backdrop for me is always neutrals, like taupe or sand or browns. then i accent with color. i guess i do the same thing in clothes. i adore soft and sagey greens for the house, so calming. and for my car and many of my clothes, and my balenciaga, different blues!!! so for me it's blues and greens. most of the house in greens, most of 'lifestyle' stuff in blue i guess. both colors seem calming and relaxing to me...maybe how i strive to live?! hehe.

Ditto -- pale. Ditto -- sickly w/o makeup. I''m pretty sure any color chart or "season reader" would tell me to avoid white -- but I can''t resist. I even have a funky pair of white patent leather sandal flats I got a couple of seasons ago -- white PATENT -- yet, now it''s kinda "in"??? *shrug* It was fun to pull them out & start wearing them less shamefully!

I''ve noticed that my sisters & I wear a lot of solid colors -- very few prints (though this season is making me reconsider -- there are lots of groovy retro prints & polka dots & stripes).

Are you more solids or prints/mixed??

LMAO!!!!!! Oh Kaleigh. Thank goodness for you! I''ll be happy to start a poll or ten for you anyday!

Really depends. I like some funky patterns, a la Pucci and Missoni, but it is all about the overall colors and size of the design, plus the cut of the actual item. Some tiny designs give me a seizure and some huge ones look too clownish to me. So, I would not want a big print in wild colors on a less tailored piece if that makes sense. I like some pattern and some solid, I like to mix textures, but just do not like to look like a walking sofa or drapes. I would never wear a pattern made of red orange and yellow, they are just my worst colors ever. I love greens, blues, some purples if they are the right tone, pinks, browns, grays, taupes as long as there is some pink to it and less ash, and black of course...

LOL Deco!

I''m such a neutral fan...I love blacks, browns, khaki''s, whites, etc. In fact if I could wear nothing but white all summer long I''d be happy, and brown all fall long...but I do insert some color here and there. I love peaches and pinks and oranges as well as navies and browns with my whites. I don''t do a lot of reds or corals even though I should! I''m just a bit on the darker tone as far as skin color if I have a little bit of a tan although I used to lay out in the sun and turn brown really quickly (native American heritage), but being almost 30 I''ve given that up! Now I''m more fair and feel like the peaches and browns treat me better, and i love a beautiful teal or aqua blue colored top with white or khaki capris which I wear with my turqoise jewelry...

I did the Color Me Beautiful thing long ago and I too am a "SPRING." I find my best color is in the turquoise/teal/aqua range. Whenever I wear these I get compliments. I used to never wear any black when I was younger (not a "SPRING" color) but as I have gotten older I wear some, but still not much. I also like to wear pinks. My neutrals tend to be shades of brown or camel.

Outside of my clothes, people would associate me with the color purple because I like purple for decor. I even painted my house lavender last year and have lots of purple flowers in my yard. Funny though, purple doesn''t look that great on my as clothing.

People tell me that beige is my color, but my favorite is deep burgundy.
