I''ve noticed that my sisters & I wear a lot of solid colors -- very few prints (though this season is making me reconsider -- there are lots of groovy retro prints & polka dots & stripes).

Are you more solids or prints/mixed??
okay funny you brought this up because I almost did as well! This I very very much have a personal trend about. EVERYTHING in my house is solids including my clothing. My daughter and my husband have a few things... and I have *maybe* 2 things in my entire closet that are flowery or patterened. In my house if it isn''t solid it is striped and if it isn''t a stripe then it is a very light plaid. I do like tone on tone and texture though... my sheers are white with a white diamond pattern (like lattice) and my curtains are "crushed silk" but not real silk LOL, couch is solid, no wallpaper, all of my clothes, occasional stripes, most of my table cloths are solid but for the occasional gingham or plaid. Its funny because I like patterns in other people''s houses and on their clothes, but for me I just like everything uber simple. Every room in my house is a different bright color, so I do have my funk, just on a larger scale LOL Generally, the smaller the pattern the less I like it, with the exception of little pink/burgundy/green rosebuds on white cotton... for some reason *that* I like LOL! (of course, the more sparse they are the more I like it LOL!!)

And if signature color extends beyond clothing I would definitely say white. Hands down without a question. When I am old I plan to be the white haired lady (almost there) with the big brimmed white hat, white rolled up pants and loose white tunic digging in her garden wearing as many big diamonds as I can manage to acquire LOL!!!!

Red. But I don''t wear a lot of red, it''s just ''my color''.

For my house, I love greens and neutrals, as Mara mentioned. My FI laughs at how many names I have for our off-white rug that runs throughout most of our condo. Right now I call it oatmeal. It''s berber and it''s flecked with all different colors. It also goes with everything. Our guest room is blue (or wedgewood blue as I call it. My FI shakes his head at that one). I''d love to meet the guy at paint companies who comes up with the various names for white. "How DO you DO that?"

I''ve always loved red too. The shade of red in Pottery Barn catalogues.

I just went through my closet and it''s full of blues. I am light skinned w/ dark brown hair and blue/green eyes. I love reds, whites, khaki, navy but aqua blue seems to dominate my closet.

I must also add there are lots of color combos that appeal to me or look good on others but look awful on me, so I cannot see myself in them but can totally appreciate them on others.
