Linda...my daughter''s is October 7. She just turned 21, but still does not appreciate gemstones or anything like that. So I''ll just have to keep it for her, it''s going to be painful, but I must do this as a motherly duty, until I know she will care for these! LOL!!

Mochi - I am only 28, an october baby (oct 31st) and I lurv gemstones - including opals.

So, do you need an adoptive daughter to take care of those beauties?

Well, I like black opals. But ordinary milky whitish opals, I''ll pass on every one. Here is an example of what I think of when I think of opal.
