Does anyone here have a "European Brilliant" from ERD?

I would like to see one set, so I thought I'd ask here first.

I'm going to NY in June so will get to meet Chris and see some then, but I'd love to see if anyone owns one of these stones on the forum.

Thanks!

I have asked Chris to provide some pictures of finished projects (with EC's). If anyone is interested I will post what he sends me.

I'd love to see the pictures he sends you. Anne, GORGEOUS!

Anne that is a STUNNING ring!

Is that an antique OEC, or one of ERD's new "European Brilliants"? Their European Brilliants are newer cuts (I guess similar to what GOG sells as their August Vintage Rounds) and are cut by the same cutters that cut their "A Cut Beyond" cushions.

Oh, I'm sorry! Mine is an original antique stone. I was not aware ERD has a line of newly-cut stones by the same name. lol

Sorry for the confusion!!!

I too look forward to your pics!

Anne

PS - Okay, just figured it out... my stone is an antique called "Old European Brilliant" on GIA cert; ERD has a line of newly-cut antique style stones called "European Brilliant" (no "Old" in the title). Got it!

I didn't think "A Cut Beyond" were specially cut cushions for ERD. I think they are cushions that meet their standards.

CharmyPoo, this was Chris' reply to me...

"I will tell you that the Cutters who Cut Our "Cut Beyond" Cushion Brilliants are also now cutting the Old Europeans as well which are of course new rough material that is geared more for the OEB's and we usually offer no lower than J-Color"

O.K. just heard from Chris again... seems that was a customer's stone and was an "L" color. Chris mentioned to take a look at their "recently sold" items, but everything seems to be a cushion (with an odd round brilliant here and there).

I was hoping to see one of their European Brilliant stones set. Disappointed :(sad
