Does this sapphire have a window?

Hi all, does this stone have a window, or is it just the lighting? It also looks kind of silky to me, but I like the color-so that does not matter all that much to me. I just don't know how much it will effect the brilliance of the stone. I also figure the inclusions will be fairly hard for the eye to see. Thanks for any input!

I bet if you asked the vendor, he would tell you everything you want to know about the stone. Just my 2 cents.

As soon as I can open my email (it's blocked at work) I will do that, I was just feeling impatient!

Unlikely to be windowed, from what I can tell.

Thanks Chrono, since I mildly have your attention, have you ever seen a pink sapphire that looks slightly more purple in direct sunlight, and more of a medium tone pink with incandescent lighting? I realize that a picture would be a lot more helpful, but it's a stone that I have (I'll see if I can snap a picture) and the closest related post I have seen to it was under:

Where LD had a Purple Sapphire that had flourescence leading to it look pink with incadescent lighting.

Pictures illustrating the color shift I'm seeing (keeping in mind these are different stones than that stone originally posted by me). I'm particularly looking at the color shift with the oval.

This is indoors, indirect incandescent lighting

For the original sapphire, under direct sunlight, I think you'll be able to make out the "spotty" inclusions with the naked eye. It is likely to be eye clean under other lighting conditions.

As for your sapphire, each stone is different. Most tend to look better under natural lighting. It is interesting that yours look better indoors.

Yeah, I'm actually surprised that both of the sapphires in those pictures look better with "non-natural" lighting. It has been a very difficult choice choosing between the 2 stones. I like the truer pink in the trillian, but the oval's color looks better with my wife's skin tone (with the purple undertones of the oval, giving it a hot pink look). I really love the color of the oval in some lighting conditions, it actually seems to glow in the dark with indirect indoor lighting. Colored stones can give you a migraine!
