So first a proper thanks to all of the frequent PS posters for sharing knowledge and pictures to help making diamond shopping a much easier process! :appl: It has certainly allowed me to make several educated purchases with no regrets.

Second, thanks to IDJ for making buying diamond earrings a total walk in the park. Yekutiel and Israel and Luann are super easy to deal with. Response time to emails in great and in person shopping is even better! They were very patient and spent time with me showing different stones and going over all of the specs. I went to IDJ based on all of the PS recommendations and definitely agree with all of the positive reviews :)

Now onto the studs. Don't be afraid of the J color, especially for earrings. They look white to me and the sparkle really hides the body color. All you see on the ear are flashes of fire . I compared I and J side by side but could not see the difference so went with J because of the price. I can see some tint when studs are next to my F eternity. Stones are eyeclean - the inclusions are needles. I can see some with a loupe but not everything plotted on the certs. Specs below:

GIA J/SI2 XXX 1.03ct
6.53-6.54-3.96mm
table 58%
depth 60.6%
crown 34.5
pavillion 40.8
hca 1.4

GIA J/SI1 XXX 1.06ct
6.53-6.56-4mm
table 58%
depth 61.1%
crown 34
pavillion 40.6
hca 0.8

Now onto pics! I have read the tutorial on taking good pictures of diamonds and tried to follow it as closely as my camera allowed :loopy: It's raining today so no fire shots in the sun :sun:

Wow :) those are gorgeous! I'm gifting myself with a pair come August and I'm definitely going for the J color since it looks so white without the hefty price tag! I'm so excited to get myself a pair! :D

Those are stunning! And a fabulous size on you.

Beautiful! I also have a J colored stud (the other is I) and I think they are a fabulous choice for eartings! Congrats!

Those are gorgeous!!! I'm in the market for studs and was curious about lower color. I have a loose G colored 0.33ct stone and was going to look for a matching stone... but now I may upgrade and get larger J colored ones.

Those are incredibly beautiful!!! LOVE LOVE LOVE!

I really thank you as my friend is buying studs and gave me 10,000 budget for a little over 2 carats so if I go J vs2 or J s1 I can totally get her studs for that budget so thanks for your help.........
