Yes I agree the waist band must lie flat or it creates the illusion of a larger waist. It will take a lot of fittings to get it perfect I imagine. I do like the waist band but I wonder whether something a bit more striking might be good too, guess I will have to see.

Yes the more I look at the photo and on the day the more I had it on the more I felt the neckline was good, I just feel being a bigger busted lady that I may have needed half an inch more coverage.

I am just hoping the proposal might come in the next month or so, so that I can try this one again and maybe a few more just so keep everyone happy.

My SO did say the other day, look I am not sure about christmas pressies I mean I am giving you your incredible ring soon. So I hope this means soon soon not next christmas soon haha yay!!

ooh I think it looks great on you. I would raise the neckline just a little, maybe it is just the picture but I hate strapless dresses where it looks like the neckline is about to fall down. Also I think it will look much better once fitted to your body (looks like it needs to be tighter under the bust area?) beautiful dress, and I hope the proposal comes soon!

Thanks slg47. I agree that was my only worry that it may look like it was falling down. When she pulled it tighter around the waist and under bust she found it was actually not sitting right and we put it in the right spot and the neckline was perfect. I think it will look 10000x better when it actually fits me. I also love this but I am not sure it is the wow I am looking for.

That other dress is beautiful too but not in the same genre as the 1st. I imagine it would be a little less expensive which is a good thing but the neckline would make sure that the girls are front and centre - unlike the 1st one.

You really should go try a bunch on - and TAKE PICS.

Properly tailored the 1st dress should not result in a Janet Jackson type wardrobe malfunction.

Yes I can't imagine any dresses being more WOW in the same way which I love about it.

Yes I am going to go and try lots more on and see after the official proposal (which I hope is soon!)

I am not sure about the sparkly gift for x-mas. We will be picking it up just before xmas but he asked me to look into storing it so

Unless your man is one of the rare breed of men who actually thinks about things like oh honey our home insurance is due next month lets spend an evening shopping around, or honey I noticed you are finished your pill this month, lets take some time to discuss our options, then he is throwing you off the scent.

I will say no more about it. Proposals are tricky. Either way, great to have the ring actually made up. But if I were you I would be booking a manicure over the holidays.

I hope that is the case. He said you need to start finding out how long it takes to set up a safety deposit box and how much it will cost. I was like yeh ok. He has said a few times and I have begun to dream that he says it all the time "just because it's made doesn't mean you get it right away..." booo hahah anyway I dreamt about rings last night. It is really on my mind lately!

It would be the perfect time I don't know if he is quite ready but yes I am glad we have the ring.
