Thanks Steph, I love your three-stone, yummy yum yum! I like the legato setting even more with this larger stone. I will probably upgrade one more time and I am thinking I may keep this setting!

Now, come over here and help me take photos of mine. I am such a klutz when it comes to photography and I guess DH doesn't know much either since he couldn't take any better ones. I'll keep trying.

Thanks soo cool! Yours is awesome too, I love the size and the sidestones are great.

I don't think anyone would guess K either... it has a body tint obviously, AGS didn't misgrade it or something, but it is hardly noticable. The fiscal side of me really appreciates that as this stone was a full $1000 less than a comparable I color stone, and I don't think anyone could tell the difference.

Photos are easy you just need a little practice

Use the macro mode and experiment. I just use a Sony cybershot point and shoot!

The spotlight is actually a beam of sunlight shining onto a white countertop... when you take a picture is just amps up the contrast on my camera!

Yup, preggo on the job market and baby born the same week as I signed the contract! LOL! I am a masochist, I also got married and defended my PhD in the same month 2 years ago!

TGal and PoshPepper I think I am coming to appreciate the simple gold solitaire and its classic appeal more and more. As a diamond size whore, though, I think this classic setting looks best with a larger diamond. I used to want a halo or a three-stone, but now I like the solitaire just like it is!

Ms.Halo It is funny about the size thing... when I pondered this upgrade I looked at the diamond size comparison thread and thought "Well that isn''t very apparent is it??" I almost didn''t upgrade because I thought it wasn''t worth the money! But then I got this one and man alive you can sure see it!

Here is a handshot comparing my old solitaire and my upgrade that totally shows the difference:
