I have this dress in the in a size 14 that I am looking to sell. I have it on order and will arrive in about 3 months or so. I went with another dress so I am looking to sell this one. Saturn, I think the dress you posted is gorgeous! I didn''t cry when I tried on my "winner" either...then again, I didn''t cry when my now-hubby put his arm around me the first time and I felt like I was "home." I think just the fact that you have gone to the trouble to post about this particular dress is a pretty good indicator that it''s the one for you. So what if it costs twice what your friends paid for theirs? Your friends don''t have to know what you paid for your dress... I know it''s one of those things that girls share with each other, but I didn''t tell ANYONE what I paid for mine. I just didn''t want it to be part of the gossip mill, although it wasn''t the most, or least, expensive dress in my circle.

Dresses, to me, are like e-rings...I know you only wear the dress for a few hours, but the pictures of you in it, the way you feel when you wear it in front of your new husband and family and friends, makes it priceless. I can respect the fact that you have a set budget, but where there''s a will, there''s a way!

I decided to get the Paloma Blanca dress, and it just came in! I LOVE IT! and the size chart was off, but luckily i didnt listen to the rude lady in dallas who told me to get a 6. that would have cost me tonnsss to alter. i managed to find it in MS at Imagi-Nations for 1300. I know that''s still alot, but the people in Dallas wanted 1500 before alterations, and they were very rude. These ladies were like my grandma they were so sweet.
I was going to go to PEARLS PLACE, but after i googled them online, i read about 100complaints about them, and just didnt want to chance it. plus their price was 1300 as well, but it included alterations. im glad i averted a possible nightmare.
as much as i didnt think i would want to save my dress for my daughters, its just sooo beautiful, that i think I will.

The bodice on the dress below is pretty similar. I tried this dress on & liked it very much.
