I really like 5, 6, and 7 on you! The straps on 6 paired with the plunging neckline are really great. #3 also gives you a great figure, but I prefer the others. #1 also makes you look really hourglassy. But I''m generally anti-pickup, and while the front pickups are not offensive, I really don''t like the train. Regarding 2, I don''t think it really does anything for you in the pictures. Perhaps it''s better in real life, but I''m just not seeing what everyone else is seeing...sorry!

ILS, I'm sorry they said the chances were slim to find the dress in the correct size. I googled, and couldn't find anything

Would you be open to similar dresses if we could find them?

Thank you for the input ladies! I think the one that sticks out in my mind is #2 from my very first time out. During this time around, a few things I really liked are 1) There were some chiffon dresses that were light weight and felt comfortable to be in! 2) I tried on a lot of dresses without a train, which is good because that also makes them lighter weight. 3) These two things are really important because I have a serious back injury and heavy dresses are too much and I simply can''t wear them all night and I don''t want to change out of my wedding dress.

Doodle - I have been thinking about this, in fact, what I am now looking for in a dress has completely shifted because I would like to use that lace. Simple, simple, simple with minimal to no adornment, lace, sparkle, etc. I am going to take a little break from dress shopping because I''m not going to lie, it gets really exhausting. This last time I just wasn''t as "into it". It seems like most people like #2, and I agree with jstar, I''m not seeing the appeal. Which is hysterical because it was my favorite in the store!

1) That lace is to die for!!!
2) I love #2 and #7-I think they are very flattering on you. I know what you mean about in-store v. in photos, but i think its really good to see them both ways--how a dress photographs on you is important, and if can look good on a bad camera (idk if you were using a cell like i was, but this was my theory) if it looks good in a photo from a crappy camera, it''ll look good in the pro-pics

3) What a beautiful gift and sentiment!! I have a lot of experience with crazy family members, but moments like that make the others a little bit easier.

Princess - Thank you for looking! If for some reason that becomes the dress, I have the option of putting a corset into it to make it fit. It looked gorgeous on but I wasn''t crazy about the skirt material in all honesty. And now I am looking for something simpler to hopefully go with my lace. But thank you, thank you!

TopoDazzle - Thank you! Unfortunately, my camera is an expensive one and 8 MP. Now FMIL didn''t really know how to use it, so I don''t know what that means all in all. Next time I go shopping again I will be taking one of my BM that takes a million photos with lots of angles and detail shots.

Sparkles,

Did you get your dress yet? I'm loving number three on you. It looks amazing!!!

When is the big day?

ETA: If you're still trying to find a dress in the right size, you may want to look on ebay or something like that...there are dresses sold there all the time that are a dream come true for brides (and for 1/2 the price of new). Some people wouldn't want to wear a gown that'd been worn before, but I thought I'd throw it out there, just in case.

I like #7 and #2. 7 gives you a great waistline with the different color sash. I really like the front of #2 but I think
you need an insert into that middle laced up section so it doesnt show skin (showing the skin back there
sort of distracts from the overall beauty of the dress).

Let us know when you narrow it down or find "the one".
