Apologies - it's just so frustrating watching her ruin her body and refuse to listen to advice or suggestions or fun things to do that are active! I'm trying my damnedest to be fitter now than I've been in my younger years, whereas she seems to think two overpriced protein and vitamin shakes for breakfast and lunch means she can have an oversized evening meal then eat an entire packet of viennese whirls followed by a sharing size packet of crisps half hour before bed while slumped on the sofa watching 5 hours of TV series boxset... Like a smoker, she won't 'give up' until she's ready, so there's nothing I can do!!

I guess no-one's perfect and we all have to live with some imperfections in our partners... It's a good job I'm perfect LOL

Ah, don't I love this thread? I am about to head to bed but now I had to open my kitchen cabinet and decide whether I should eat a Manner caramel and crisp stick or some chocolate, settled on white chocolate but now I got a craving for more...) I gotta run and do some push ups (my solution for the guilty feeling).

I haven't got any amusing/annoying updates, sadly - she has been generally 'quite good' recently. Well, apart from one of those small, sharing tubs of Haagen Dazs (spelling?) that she managed to polish off on her own the other night...


She managed to mention rings the other day, though, which was quite handy. To her a ring is just a minor thing, it is what it represents that is important, hence she wouldn't mind if I proposed with a Haribo gummy ring! I think it's fair to say that a CBI diamond is therefore overkil but I want her to be distracted by it when it's sunny, life is too short not to enjoy pretty things at every available opportunity

Those Haribo rings are too sweet - hehe! But I can't wait till you get the setting sorted and give her the ring, you might unleash a diamond fiend....Maybe she will buy you a 2ct Octavia....

lol Fortunately not, they are quite a rare purchase - I have no idea why she even bought them, we don't usually have them in the house!

I like that she is so down to earth and low maintenance generally, although I do wish that didn't become no maintenance... It's like cuddling up to a cactus when she hasn't bothered to shave her legs because she's been wearing jeans and steel toe cap boots at work all week!


(I'm hardly painting a glowing picture, am I? LoL)


Settings-wise, I am hoping to get into the city in the next couple of weeks and check out some Danhov stuff (££££ ) and also a place that does custom stuff. In the meantime, I'm hoping to get to a more local place that does entirely custom stuff this weekend, if I can borrow the car!

I have been reading up on my alloys, though, and I'm liking the look of this 950 PlatOro stuff - looks like it has the flow properties of 950Pt/Ir but the strength qualities of 900Pt/Ir or even 950 Pt/Ru, at a price simiar to 950Pt/Ir, but with added coolness factor because it's a Platinum/Gold mix Will I be able to find anyone who can get it or will work with it? I'm not holding my breath... lol
