Yoyo, one of these diamonds is SI clarity yes? What are the clarity grades of each diamond to clarify please? In which case, it isn't unusual to be able to see something, plus the diamond could have dirt or grease on it, which is causing this effect. Also some inclusions are visible in some lights and not others. Make sure the diamonds are clean so you can make a decent assessment.Date: 7/16/2008 11:55:41 AM

I am looking at two diamonds and in certain bright lights, I see dust particles or something hazy in the centre? Maybe my eyes are playing tricks with me. Is this normal? I thought diamonds are supposed to be crystal clear?
Can you see them face up or from the side?Date: 7/16/2008 12:11:07 PM

Yes, they are both SI1 clarity and have cleaned them. The one diamond on its GIA report states it has one crystal (found it) and a pinpoint, so other than that, it''s quite clean. I can still see particles only in bright bathroom light - in natural light or dining room light, I don''t see it.
