***A freaking TON of dust***

Hope that helps. My husband is in the process of being laid off right now. Actually, they told him back in August, but they''ve just been dragging their corporate feet about giving him an end date so he can move on and collect his severance agreement!

However, we''ve been through the process a few times, and even when it got really bleak, in the end, the negative always turned into a positive. So I agree with you that maybe this really is going to be a turning point for the better. I really do believe that. Good luck!!

Thank you ever so much everyone! He''s very down today. But he did apply for other jobs. And I did try to talk to him about it, but I think he needs a little time. We really REALLY liked his co-workers and his boss and in his words, "enjoyed going to working in the morning" ... and he''s mourning that loss, and uncertain of the future. It''s the first time we''ve been through this, and it''s taking some adjusting to.

All your kind words and good thoughts mean so much to us both. I know we''ll get through this, and we''ll be stonger for it. And I am blessed knowing that you all are here for us as well. ((HUGS)).

Aaron''s company announced layoffs recently and he was spared, but they said there will be much more in February. We''re wating to see, but I believe things happen for a reason. Our lease for our apartment is also up in February, so we may be looking at a move if he is laid off.

Mia honey, Aaron is such a great guy, he''ll be in my thoughts. Thank you for the truckload of dust. The image had be laughing. I used to (in lawschool) live in an apartment on the 4th floor where my only window had a lovely view of the alley with the dumpsters. That sounds "beep beep beep" is permanently etched on my brain from my year at that place. LOL.

Ally! Me too. His chin is up today. The place called and he has a telephone interview for Tuesday (YAY!), and that''s helping a lot! ((HUGS))

And it''s WORKING. YAY for telephone interviews on Tuesday. John got an amazing voice. Seriously, nearly everyone who has ever talked to him on the phone tells me "he should be in radio" or... "he should be in Adult"... um phone call centers. So actually telephone interviews are great.

Such good news about the phone interview!!! Your description of his voice made me laugh out loud- too funny! It''s good that he''s being interviewed via one of his strong suits. I hate telephone interviews... I sound like a 13 year-old and I''m sure it makes potential employers less inclined to hire me.

Aw thanks Gypsy, it may not be so bad for him because the company also anounced it wants to focus more on research and development which is his department. But I think we will move to Southern California if he does get laid off, we need an excuse to move somewhere with a lower cost of living.
