I am not generally one to ask for dust...I am not a particularly superstitious person, and I go back and forth religion-wise...and try to keep my personal stuff personal...

However, my mom has just been diagnosed with BC...I can't bring myself to type the words out yet...and I am thinking...even if the PS dust has .000000001% chance of helping, it is probably worth it...

so please, dust away.

-rockzilla

PS should be please not "pleast"....can't even type at the moment!

Oh no, I''m sorry to hear that. My thoughts are with you and your family.

Dust dust dust!!!!!

*Dust and Hugs*

Many prayers. If you ever need someone to talk to, through all the doctors visits and such, please don''t hesitate. I''m sure there are quite a few of us around here that I have through this trying time before.

Im sending good wishes, hope and prayers your way!Keep in mind that excessive worry just zaps the energy you need to deal with lifes problems...stay positive and deal with things day to day as they unfold.

~*~*~*~*dust~*~*~*~* And hugs too! I know how scary it is for you guys right now. I''ll keep you in my thoughts.

BC is highly curable. I''m assuming this was found with mammo or ultrasound? IT WILL BE OKAY.
I know this is a shock for you and it would be for anyone. It''s a passage but you will make it through.
Forgive me for not knowing, but do you live near her?

Feel free to vent.

IT''S GOING TO BE ALRIGHT.

So sorry to hear about your mother''s diagnosis. Sending ~*dust*~ and positive thoughts your mother''s way!

So sorry Rockzilla--sending dust and thoughts your mother''s way.

Obviously you are quite worried, but know this, there are thousands and thousands of women who are past the 5 year mark of recovery. Your mom will be fine. Stay strong, she''ll be glad you''re there to support her through this. Dust has been sprinkled.

My prayers are with you and your mom.

rockzilla: I am very sorry to hear of your mother. I am sending tons of special dust your way.

Please know as other posters have said BC is highly curable.

Hugs to you sweetie.

Linda

We''re here for you sweets. Sending my very best dust your way...and, of course, my thoughts and prayers

Be strong mami... *hugs*

Thanks everyone. They found it because she had a lump on her lymph node. However, they thought it was a cyst so they didn''t remove it right away (grrr) but when they did remove it they realized it wasn''t a cyst and sent it for testing. She just got the results back.

We don''t know anything beyond that...all of the initial tests will be next week.

Both my fiance and my best friend lost their moms to BC...we did the Avon walk last september and it there were a lot of survivors on the walk...so that makes me feel better, but I am still really scared...

thanks for all of the dust!

I am so sorry to hear about your mum
