I am getting closer and closer to getting my centre stone - and it looks like I might be able to get a 7-8mm square!
Now I am starting to think about settings - what do you guys think about a square chrysoberyl in a halo? I really like the look of a halo, and all the LM, SK and VC halos on PS are completely beautiful and lovely, but I also don't really want to spend >4-5k (which sounds like what it's going to be with those three vendors).
I would like to stick to a $1-2k setting for now (and then use this prudence as ammunition when I - in a few years - purchase more jewelry), and do any of you have any suggestions? I am ok with using stock settings, though of course custom is even better.
I would like a single halo (preferably pave) - nothing too wide, and a half eternity band that will sit flush with my wedding band, and an uncomplicated gallery. Thanks all!
Also, I will likely need to ship stone from cutter direct to setter - so needless to say that I am hoping for someone very professional and trustworthy!
