I put 3 pair of stones together and think it would make a pair of good looking earrings
1 pair of tanzanite, 2 pairs of princess cut green tourmalines
I believe it would be a custom design, but I have no idea who should I start looking into.
I also don't have any idea about how to connect these stones, will it just be gold or diamond should be involved? I do know i want white gold.
Any suggestions or links that I can use for reference would be appreciated!

Both danielM and Heart of Aater on etsy have made some really awesome dangly earrings for PSers. I have had a ring made by danielm and am currently having one done by HOW - they are both great to work with but danielm is less expensive and HOW is somewhat more refined in design.

I that combination would be amazing as dangling earrings.

Love the colors together! Are you set on white gold? I can see them in yg -- would look richer with both the green & the tanz.

You don't mention your budget or the style you like, but Jill Anish does stunning dangling earrings: http://jillanish.com/jewelry.html You could look there at least for ideas. Whatever you decide on, it'll be terrific w/those stones!

I'd also recommend DanielM on etsy. I haven't had earrings made, but I do remember Freke's drops - they were AMAZING! Caren is very good with email/communication and they will work hard to get your vision into CAD's then reality. I found their pricing very good, too.

My items were created from argentium silver - I wanted them to be tarnish free but not with the expense of WG.

Good luck! I love the idea of what you are looking at... Have you played with the stones in different orders? Like having the graduated size tourmalines then end with the tanzanite at the bottom? or as a cluster? or with the tanz as a stud and the 2 tourm's dangling from that? or as you say, tiny diamonds 'connecting the dots' between the stones... Just rambling.... :D

you can also try adzia on etsy

Thank you all for the wonderful suggestions!!!
After a brief browse, Here is what I come up with, please forgive my horrible drawings.
I am worried the tanzanite as a stud will be too long, it measures 8x4. So I'm leaning on the right design

This one has me worried for the tanzanite. Far too risky for me.

I really like the first drawings (which are really excellent btw). If you're worried about the tanzi's being too big for a stud, you can have the post placed higher on the stone so it extends down past the lobe, so it doesn't look out of place.

What about without the tanzanite? The shape doesn't go with the group that well anyway....

Creative!!! Can you put the tanzanite on the earring portion (instead of it being a loop, it would be a stud) and then the 2 princess tourmalines would be suspended from the same mechanism? I love the dangly look!

I also really liked your hand drawing, using the one on the right side, with the stones suspended on a single line.

Is it too ackward to set the smallest princess cut stone as a stud, then tanzanite, then the other princess stone? I'd be concerned with the stones and basket hitting one another with such a long and very free dangle design.
