A gorgeous set - in your case, due dilligence with research certainly paid off. It has a lovely clean look. I'd watch those skeletons though, they look like they want to get their mits on them. I do hope the intestinal problem can be brought under control.
DH is an avid chess player & this is his little statue. He looks like the skeleton on the left when he is waiting for me to get ready when we go out. :cheeky:

:appl: :appl: :appl:

Hurry up delivery man- we need hand shots!!! I love it - wonderful! And in time for your NYC trip, no less!!! :Up_to_something:
No trip to NYC Enerchi-I have been sick so we cancelled. The ring certainly cheered me up though!

WHAT??? no NYC??? oh no --- Are you ok Woofmama??? Is this going to be a brief blip on the medical charts and you'll be back up and running full tilt ASAP? I hope so! Hope to hear you are all better by the weekend!

The Sholdt semi-bezel is definitely one of my fav modern settings. Congrats!

I love your set! The Sholdt is gorgeous and the band goes so well with it. Just beautiful. I am so sorry for all the health issues you have been going through. That certainly does not sound like any fun. I hope you are completely well soon to fully enjoy your perfect set.

Enerchi thanks for your concern. You are an RN correct? Here is a brief summary of what happened. Hope it's not TMI.
I have severe diverticulitis and got a really bad infection a couple weeks ago. The antibiotics (flagyl) made me so nauseous that I couldn't even keep down a sip of water for three days, much less the actual meds. Had to have IV Zofran, IV flagyl and fluids.
Got a script for Zofran but still very sick from the flagyl. DR says if I get another infection she is referring for surgery, period. Honestly I would welcome it. Second time I've had this happen in a year. Just didn't feel I could handle traveling right now.Run down & stomach is still very touchy. I have to be very careful what I eat. DH & I are still having fun. Went to the Harley Museum in Milwaukee on Wed & a local casino yesterday. Tonight we are going to a comedy club.
Sat or Sun Art Institute of Chicago. There is certainly no shortage of great things to do around Chicago. I hope you come to visit here soon!

Oh I'm so sorry you are going thru this phase right now! I hope the meds kick in and calm your illness down so you can get back to normal. We really do take our health for granted, until something happens... then it can be VERY scary! Yes, I'm an RN (just celebrated 30 years since graduating, this past May!)

I wish you were well enough to enjoy your planned trip to NYC, but you made the right choice, in this case. You wouldn't have enjoyed it enough to fully participate in all the amazing things the city has to offer --- next time.. next time!!!

I'm so glad you are having a 'touristy' time in your own city!! Save some things for when I get there!!!! ;)) :wink2:

Your set is beautiful  ! I love the shape of your ec, its such a gorgeous "fatty rectangle." I love "fatty" shapes, like the "roval" or a nice squat pear  Anyway...enjoy your new set and I hope you feel better soon! :wavey:

Welcome to the Sholdt family! Pearlmans was amazing to work with, so glad you had a wonderful experience and ended up with a beautiful ring!

How did I miss this! WOOFMOMMA that looks just lovely on you. I hope your health continues to improve and that your 'staycation" is a blast!

Oh my gosh, what an absolutely gorgeous set!! I love everything about the ring and the band, both pieces are so beautiful and look fantastic on you!! :appl:

So sorry to hear about your health issues and I hope you continue to feel better and remain healthy!

Your set is simply stunning (though as a Sholdt and Pearlman's customer, I am biased of course!)

I love the way the ECs work together and I think you'll be happy with this for a long time to come. Get better soon so you can get out and enjoy them!

Gorgeous set, I love emerald cuts! Congrats on your new ring!

Thanks for the well wishes! The trip would have been out of the question right now. Still enjoying the week with hubby though :))
My BFF & sister are both RN's & have fabulous careers. Congrats on your 30 yr anniversary! Great profession :appl:

When you come to Chicago we can find loads of trouble to get into :cheeky:

Just gorgeous!!! That wedding band is just perfect with it! :appl:

I really was torn between wanting an asscher or emerald cut diamond. Spent hours looking at both cuts on the PS vendor sites.
With this stone set east-west it has the asscher effect. A few of the local jewelers kept referring to it as an asscher. The rep at JA called it a squatty emerald. I always seek out unique things & this stone was up my alley. Thank you!

audball & Echidna: Thank you the compliments! Believe me I spent hours visiting your threads obsessively 8) Both of your rings are beautiful and Sholdt was on my short list for settings from the time I saw the semi-bezel. I entertained a few other idea's but kept going back to this setting. So glad I followed my first instinct, I love my ring  And Julian at Pearlmans is great to work with, he was fabulous at communicating the correct height of the setting was customized to match my band. I am officially Pearlmans biggest fan =)

The shot with the skeletons is so funny!!!!!! Your set is very substantial looking - I love that!!!!!!

Thank you so much pregcurious, luv2sparkle, Junebug17, lknvrb4, Gypsy and Diamondseeker! I never dreamed I would have something like this on my finger 8) I am so grateful that I found PS and began to research how to buy diamonds.I know I'm not as prolific a poster as some but I visit every day and soak up all of your wisdom like a sponge
You ladies rock and really helped me create my dream rings!

And a special Thanks to Gypsy for responding to my thread when I posted the ASET. I'm soooo glad I took the leap & purchased this stone :D

I thought the skeleton statue was a perfect prop with it being so close to Halloween! Glad you like my boney little friends
Since my hands look like saggy baggy elephant hands in most of the pics I think the skeletons are definately more attractive :cheeky:
