Looking for some feedback from the pricescope community:

Whitelflash is about to celebrate our 25th Anniversary and we have been devoted to supporting consumer eductation (and the pricescope community) for all of that time. As such, we have posted many articles through the years, and engaged in thousands of discussions her on Pricescope. I'm not saying we are out of ideas for educational content, but it's best to create content that really matters to folks.

What topics would you like to see covered? Or covered in more depth? If you are a newbie, what is your biggest area of interest? If you are a prosumer, where do you think we should be going with educational content on pricescope.

Would very much appreciate all perspectives!

The big current topic has to be the difference between lab grown diamonds and natural.
I think there’s more than one level of interest or education involved in this. From basic ie lab diamonds are real diamonds through to the potential microscopic differences in CVD diamonds that can affect performance.
Some articles on what atoms in the lattice structure go into creating different colours in diamonds, maybe why natural pink diamonds are rare and therefore expensive.
I’d also like to see more information on the different shapes and cuts. An explanation of how the optics are different ie emerald cut to round brilliant and how shape alters carat size appearance, like how carat for carat Marquis gives you the biggest “look”.
Perhaps even some information on interesting diamonds in history. Like the Hope Diamond, not so much the bad luck aspect but the interesting phenomenon it has. Chameleon diamonds perhaps, the different colours of fluorescence in diamonds and why.

Both mined and lab.
Effect of laser shaping on the amount of mined diamonds with crystal issues
