Hi all so I picked up my stones last night and brought them immediately to an independent appraiser.
He thought the cut was spot on he measured check the floresence etc.
He thinks that one stone
1. I color I1 value $3,800
2. H color S12 value 5,700
(By the way spot on for two grades down per EGL International certificate standards vs GIA)
this he said was extremely strict and said if anything if taken out of setting they might grade better.....
He said total he said total as seen above. $9,500..(according to Rapnet this week).
I paid $8,000 plus my studs (which have been valued at $2,000) So I paid $10,000.
So I think I am okay with this. Not sure I want to have them GIA certified.....He feels that GIA would be as he is as he was very strict when looking at them.
