Simply stunning!

How do you find the setting to be comfort wise? I'm torn between Verragio's Insignia 7001-RD and a Precision Set micro-set. I adore the Verragio's fancy gallery, but wonder if it will be annoying on the finger.

Hi Winks_Elf - the setting is very comfortable. Besides seeing the lovely scrolling design, I would never even know that it is there. It just helps to provide a very elegant, subdued "lift" off of the finger and it appears to have some thickness at the base of the scrolling so it lays against the finger comfortably. Hope that helps!

I just adore this ring with its unique, special touches, especially the scrolling design. My fiance and I instantly fell in love with it the first time we saw it. With the setting, we admire how the diamond is slightly lifted out of the halo, exposing the crown, part of the pavilion, and the cutlet. I get a great perspective of my diamond, while still being accented by its halo.

Also I think many of you made a great observation calling it a "romantic" design! I really agree with that sentiment - as it really does have a modern, yet old-world charm about it. Also, I thought it was quite fitting how my fiance proposed to me in a lovely forest setting with white roses, and an old-fashioned treasure box. I think of it as my enchanted forest proposal!!

While I was super nervous at first about how a halo would look on a 2.5 ct. stone for my size 4.5 finger, it really is the perfect size for me. Also, I know that many of the photos I took show it as being gigantic! Honestly, though, the pictures do add more than a few pounds and made the ring look much larger than it actually is. I really should return with a few more distant shots to provide a better perspective!

While it is a larger look, I find that since it sits lower and comfortably on my finger, I really don't notice it throughout the day (besides the blinding flashes of sparkle in my eye! Thanks Whiteflash! ) It's a wonderful ring, and I would recommend the Verragio Insignia collection to anyone considering a truly unique, enchanting setting!
