Aw, thanks everyone for the kind words! It really means a lot coming from a bunch of experts like you ladies!
I am so excited to have this ring (and the man who gave it to me!). I initially thought I wanted the 6mm and above thickness for the band, which required stones at .85-ish carat or more (at Tiffany anyway, I notice that stones of that weight from GOG or WF are cut a little differently and are closer to the 6mm diameter than Tiff''s diamonds). However, this one popped up and seemed to work best for me. At 5mm, it''s already a really heavy ring! Plus I''d have some stacking options versus just wearing one band. I would like a plain wedding band, but that Jazz band DOES stick in one''s mind. I guess I''ll just have to do both.
