Well I am back to post the handshots of my ering...I knew he wouldn't be able to hold out for long and I was right. We received the ring Thursday and he proposed Friday    and I'm thrilled. Without further ado. I apologize for the quality of the photos in advance...and my sweatsuit.

Hello Efriede,

These are .20 stones. I wanted the ring to be large enough to stand on its own so I went with a larger size. Plus I have long fingers, hands, and arms. I am fairly tall at 5'8" so I felt I needed a slightly larger sized stone to have presence on my hand. The ring is a size 6.25 for reference. I am still getting used to the size, it is certainly blingy. I am hoping that I have averted DSS with this one. I had tried on .13 stones in the store and I wished that they were a little bigger so I thought this size was a good compromise.

It is beautiful and I can't stop staring at it. WF did an outstanding job on every aspect of the ring. It is stunning in IRL pictures simply do not do it justice. It does seem super blingy to me at the moment so I think it will take some getting used to. I have never had a piece of jewellery of this caliber before and it totally dwarfs my RHR. WF did an amazing job making sure that the diamonds are set low so the setting is surprisingly comfortable. All the ladies I work with noticed the new ring almost immediately which is what I wanted. I don't want to have to tell people I am engaged, they can see it on their own.

HI:

Don't ever stop staring at it! Yumm-E!

Congrats!

cheers--Sharon

Here's a better pic. Maybe someday I can get one showing fire.

Congratulations!
Your ring is beautiful, it looks perfect on your hand.
I love the idea of an eternity ring for your ering. Do you plan to pair it with a solid gold (or platinum, I forget that detail) as your wedding ring? I love that look, too.

Its beautiful. Congratulations! Is it comfortable to wear? Does it rub on your other fingers?

Seriously gorgeous ring...I love the .20 stones! If I'm ever blessed enough to add that to my ring collection I wouldn't change a thing :lickout:
You did a great job choosing your ring! Congratulations on your engagement :appl:

I will go with platinum for the band.

I have tried on eternity bands that were very uncomfortable and also some that are very comfortable. I can easily forget I am wearing this one. I specifically asked WF to set the stones as low as possible and to file down the prongs so that they were as smooth as possible. I think if you get an eternity that is well made, with the stones set low, small prongs, and if it is a good scale for your finger than you have greater chance of having a comfortable band. But I understand that for some people an eternity will never be comfortable so it really is personal.

Wow, that is beautiful! It looks perfect on your hand, what a great alternative to an e-ring with a center stone.

:appl: :appl: :appl: Great job!!! Beautiful and classy!!! :appl: :appl: :appl:
