Engaged with WF Uternity

I love your eternity! Gorgeous engagement ring!

I've always loved eternity rings. Yours is just gorgeous and looks great on you. You have beautiful hands and slender fingers...you could be a hand model.

AWWWW that's so sweet beckweed. Thank you. :wavey:

CONGRATS on your engagement!!! I love that he waited exactly one day

Your ring is beautiful on you and it makes for the perfect engagement band - super blingy and super classy
Love it Gemmy!! :appl:

Have any of you ladies gotten snide comments about your e-ring? I've only been engaged for 5 days and its already begun. People seem to be offended that I didn't go for a solitaire of a lower carat weight. Many of you have gorgeous larger carat rings out there (much larger than mine) have you run into this? At the end of the day I love my ring and to hell with the haters. I just wish that the negativity was a non-issue.

Screw 'em ::) Your ring is gorgeous and like I said before, I love the idea of an engagement band. Its truly the sort of piece that will grow with you, and that can be *just right* no matter what stage you're in in your relationship - it's a beautiful and blingy engagement ring, it's a very classic "married" look, and it's the sort of piece women dream about for milestone anniversaries :sun:

Enjoy your ring and your engagement!

Oh, SERIOUSLY ?????
These women must be crazy !!!
Don't listen to them, the ring is YOURS and symbolizes you and your dear FI love for each other,
which NOBODY has the right to try to diminish !!!!
And I vote for Big Eternities / Five Stones any day of the week !!!
not traditional, but OOOOO-LA-LA !!!!!!! Why be like everyone else ?????????

Your ring is gorgeous and I love the idea of an eternity band for an ering! Congratulations!

Your right ooo-Shiney. I believe, I remember your thread choosing between an eternity and five stone for a long awaited anniversary ring? I never saw a follow-up thread for that if you don't mind me asking which one did you choose? I'm sure it was gorgeous either way.

Simply beautiful - I love the openness of the u-prongs and you can't go wrong with WF's diamonds.

Ew. What is wrong with people??? I mentioned in your other thread that I had the same uprong e-ring (only smaller with 10 pointers) and some people were weird about it. Why does anyone care what you would want for an engagement ring? At first it certainly irked me - people would say things like "well....that looks like a wedding ring, not an engagement ring." But then I realized that not only do I smile every time I look at my hand, i've been married for three years now and I have never had DSS or regretted getting a big. blingy. band. I love it and you will too.

That makes me so sad! What nonsense. It's so none of their business. And it's an absolutely positively incredible engagement ring!!!

OH !!! I'm sorry, I just now got home from work and am relaxing in front of my computer now....

I can't find my thread, but it doesn't matter, I picked a beautiful 5-stone
and I COULDN'T love it more !!!! ( although, I think I might upgrade at some point
and turn it into a 3/4 eternity !!!!)

For whatever reason, this ring just seems so well suited to me personally....
AND........ I wear it on my left hand !!!!!! (my other ring is now worn on my right hand)

So I can TOTALLY understand how you feel about your ring and I think it's
GORGEOUS and really exemplifies everything that is perfect about
a sparkling ice-white circle of beautiful diamonds !!!!

You GO, Lady !!!!
Wear your ring proudly and in good health !!!!

Hey violet3,
It is certainly weird and unexpected. Oh well you can't please everyone right? I must tell you that I adore your sapphire 5 stone I got a quote for one a few months ago. We must have similar taste. :wavey: I am a little blinged out right now but maybe in the future I will look at the sapphire five stone more seriously. Definitely as a RHR though since this new puppy makes my current RHR look pretty sad.

We must have similar taste indeed!!! Thanks for the kind words about the sapphire five stone - I got it at an antique store. My plan was to someday turn it into a sapphire/diamond band but that was years ago and I never got around to it. I kind of like it as it is now - i don't wear the two rings together (just wanted to show them off in my avatar).

Your ring looks amazing on your hand!!!! You have perfect hands for an eternity band - my fingers are short and stubby :knockout: I would love to have 20 pointers like yours
