I was wondering if anyone out there with eternity ring knowledge might be able to help me?

I am going to order an ring set online. Both the engagement ring and wedding band have little diamonds that go all the way around the ring. Each ring is 3mm. My old wedding ring is a size 6.5, but it is a thin band. I was thinking about going to a 7 but I don''t know, would a 7.25 be better? It''s Feb. and I want them to fit in Aug. too. I hate the feeling of tight rings, but then again loose ones worry me.

I would probably suggest a 7. I wear a 3.5 but I have a 5mm ring that is a 4 and fits fine. Can the rings be sized at all up or down if need be? If not, then I''d go with the 7 b/c you could always add sizing beads if you had to in order to make it fit tighter but if the ring is made too small then you''d be out of luck.

Yes, the two rings combined would be 6mm, so half a size up sounds safe. I actually usually size the wb as my usual size and then go up a half in the e-ring, since sometimes I wear the wb on its own.
