Aww thank you. The graduated bangle is a definite winner and something I've wanted for so long. I'm not sure a dbty will scratch my itch for a Riviere lol.

My mom gave me a strand of costume pearl, nothing at ALL special, but I loved it and wore it so often that the coating on the plastic beads wore off.

Happy to hear from someone else who wears their sentimental faux pearls! I am not a pearl collector but I am keeping my mother’s and grandmother’s faux pearls and cheap pearls. A jeweler re-strung mom’s faux pearl wedding bracelet into a necklace that I can use for pendants.

I wish my necklace had been quality faux pearls. It was just plastic beads with paint. The real faux pearls with the coating made of ground up shell are much more long lasting!

Oh I think mom’s were plastic. I was using “faux” to mean not pearl.

I got so many compliments on that silly strand of plastic "pearls"! So I want to buy a strand of real pearls to replace it. I don't want anything super fancy, but just something real and nice. Probably fresh water, 8mm, blush or champagne color. I think I'll wear it all the time. Once I know exactly what I want I'll probably ask for it for a birthday present from my family or something.
