I've done a wealth of reading on purchasing diamonds but still feel overwhelmed deciding in the right diamond,
I'm looking for an ideal cut round diamond - the bigger the better but of course with quality in mind within a price range of 6000-8500 ..to go in a tacori. 2620

Can anyone help me choose ? If you were purchasing where would you look? Would you do eBay? What are the techniques experienced buyers use?

Any help would be amazing

Dont go the ebay route they stones are 90 percent clarity enhanced unless they come with GIA certificates. You will find alot of help here on PS. They PS will help you find a beautiful certified ideal cut stone that you will be amazed and happy with. You can start by giving us a better idea of how big is big.

1 carat 1.5 carat. to have an ideal cut. also the top of your range does that included the 2,600 setting.

finally you can start going to James Allen, Good old Guys, Whiteflash and B2C to browse around.

You probably ought to click the "report concern" button then ask to have this moved to RockyTalky, which is where the diamond hunting activities are conducted.

Thanks,
I reposted there :)
