Fabulous CS rings under 2,000 dollar!!

ilovegemstones,
That emerald ring is absolutely out of this world, and the bluish green color looks perfect on your hand. I like it even better than your round sapphire ring, which is saying a lot! If I didn't know the price guidelines of this thread, I would guess that a well-made ring with such obviously high-quality gems cost at least $2,000. The center stone looks especially big and beautiful. Enjoy!

And userangl28212003,
Who could forget your photo of the amazing array of pretty rings you put together for under $1,000 each with the help of DiamondZone? -

Diane
Thank you for the complimemt. Mydiamondzone on ebay ILya has very nice quality settings for cheap, which helps me save a lot of money. All my white gold rings in the pictures are settings from Diamondzone. :)

Hi. Adding my newest addition my heat only blue montana sapphire and diamond ring in 14k white gold, which was actually around $600 all together including stone and setting thanks to DiamondZones great prices, and most if my collection of rings have been around $800 or less :).

Besutiful ring userang. I love the intricate detailing.

The stones are so bright and fabulous, great purchases everyone!

Another beautiful budget friendly ring userangl.

Under $600-$800 is admittedly my usual comfort zone for spending so will definitely need to keep DiamondZone in mind when I need a setting.

Thank you. Buying smaller stones 4mm-5mm definitely helps keep the budget down too. I feel like i have gotten really lucky especially finding an awesome bright blue montana sapphire with not really any green in it, my bright red burmese spinel, and my HPHT treated yellow diamond for a good price.
Oh yea guys I made a mistake the blue montana ring was around $700 not 600 but still a great price :)

GREAT thread with STUNNING CSs :appl: Thank you all for sharing.

Userangl if you buy your stones on place and your setting from Diamond Zone who sets your stones in the settings? I'm not sure my local jeweler would do it.

All but the montana sapphire ring was set by my jeweler. The montana on I actually mailed to Diamondzone because we weren't sure if it was slightly to small, and they said they can set it so it fits nicely (my first time mailing a stone out, made me nervous). also if it did fit, it would be like 70 dollars cheaper to set it compared to my jeweler. We unfortunately the stone was too small so he offered to make a custom setting that would pretty much be the same except made to fit my stone for an extra 175 excluding what I already paid for the setting, which included the fee of setting it in the ring. Of coarse the width of the ring is a couple mm smaller than the setting I wanted because the stone is smaller. Diamondzone does have great setting for the prices, but they don't have the thickest metal to them, but for the low price it is good quality.

Userangl your ring is stunning!

Lots of great additions to this wonderful thread!

DianeM, I love the mint garnet set you have, and the four petal garnet/sapphire earrings are so darn cute! Love ‘em! And your newest diamond/hauynite ring is gorgeous, and looks fantastic on your hand! Congrats! :appl:

lilmosun, that’s a lot of eye candy you’ve got there! I really love them all, but in particular the lapis ring! Lapis is on my ever-growing list of wants, and yours is a great inspiration!

ilovegemstones, the elegance of your five stone emerald ring is so alluring! I love emeralds and wish it were my birthstone. Mine is peridot, and I rarely see one that I truly like the coloring on. YAY for your new ring - LOVE IT!

userangl, I love the montana sapphire coloring, and the setting is fabulous! It’s got kind of an antiquey feel to it, which I simply love! I can’t believe you got that for $600!!

One of my latest additions meets the criteria for this thread. I found this 18k white gold vintage 10ct moonstone & diamond accent ring and negotiated price down to a mere $400. My philosophy was to have a dreamy moonstone that I could wear on vacay or something without too much fear of damaging it. I wouldn’t feel comfortable wearing my other moonstone ring on a long vacation, so this was my solution. Or that’s what I tell myself anyway…

BaileyC: amazing find!! Thanks for sharing your beautiful ring. I like

Thank you all for the compliments! I did mis calculate the montana sapphire ring was a tad over $700, but still great price :)

I like that setting from DZ, unfortunately, it may be too small for my big fat size 10.5 US middle finger.

However, it may work for my ring finger that is a size smaller.

Loving the new photos, keep them coming please.

DK :))

Figured I'd post our latest ring addition in here since it had a total cost to us of less than $300.

Vintage style 14k white gold setting from Diamond Zone
8mm octagon, 2.14 ct spessartite garnet from Steve Wallner at Westview Gems

Picture in fluorescent lighting. Shows how the inclusions cause an internal glow like a fire.

Shot of the side of the setting.

Picture in non-direct sunlight. This shot reflects the true color better.

Providing one likes antique style rings, yes, IMHO.

This is a horrible picture that does none of these justice, but these are all sub-1250.

pinky:
- tsavorite cab from Tan, sterling silver setting I made (so, uh, cheap, plus the cost of tools and lessons...)

ring finger:
- 6mm chrysoberyl from Mastercut Gems, argentium silver stock setting, set by me (lol you don't want me to zoom on those prongs, trust me)
- tourmaline & tiny diamonds, 14kt setting, from an estate jewelry store
- light blue sapphire & chrysoberyl pair from Mastercut Gems, argentium silver setting by DanielM

middle finger:
- platinum, sapphire, and diamond ring I found in a junk of "to be thrown out" stuff when people were cleaning out my grandmother's house. So. Free to me heirloom that otherwise would have ended up at the landfill. The round sapphires are pretty much black but it's a neat design, so hey.
- ruby and gold halo setting, preloved
- zircon from Mastercut Gems (uh, are you noticing a pattern?) and preloved rose gold halo setting

forefinger:
- montana sapphire from Mastercut Gems and gold setting, preloved
- moonstone cab from Mastercut Gems (this post reads like a Mastercut Gems advertisement) in a sterling stock setting, set by me
- trillion mint garnet from Prima Gems in a rose gold setting by DanielM

thumb:
- ruby and platinum eternity from some antiques place at Intergem, I forgot the name
- mint garnet in yellow gold, preloved

Okay here are better pictures of some of them. The others I don't have better pictures of loaded to PS already and I don't really feel like taking pictures today.

Oooh! I like that setting. Is that also from Diamondzone?

Ohhh...I love that setting to...can't wait to see what stone will go in...either way its guaranteeed to be a very expensive looking and beautiful piece!

Add me to the "coming soon" camp...still trying to make use of what I have sitting around and came up with this pairing. Teal tourmaline set in another 18k gold setting I bought from a retired jeweler - total spent for both $350 (add another $20-$25 to have the stone set).

minousbijoux, yes it is. I haven't ever before ordered from Diamond Zone, so I don't know what to expect.

lilmosun, I like it very much too and drooled it couple of weeks before pushing the button . I purchased two garnets month ago and I took them to my goldsmith. Only to picking them back a week later. His price for some adjustments and setting stones was over $1200. I said no thanks. I rather buy new ones and find a goldsmith who sets them.
