Family Diamond in Gabriel & Co Halo Setting

congratulations on your engagement! Your ring is beautiful and makes your center stone look so big!

And, I, for one, love that your ring is a family stone, as my ering stone is, as well, and our stones are almost exactly the same weight. Makes me wish I'd gone with a halo when I reset three years ago. But, our stones have history! Your new setting renews the stone, giving it a new home and life, and a look toward the future. I know, I've been wearing mine for...gosh...25 years.

As for those inclusions: freckles. Who doesn't love a little one with freckles? (mine is an SI1, so freckles are ther ) The color: its individual complexion. (mine is a K, so she has a tan? ) All I see is sparkle and bling, both on yours and mine. Enjoy!!

I love this! My FI has quite a few freckles, so it's very appropriate. :D

I re-read my first post, and it may seem like I was disappointed in the ring. Not true - I love it! I was just trying to capture as many of the details as I could. I originally wanted something a bit more unique than a round stone, but as many of you have commented, I think the setting really compliments the stone well and makes it unique.

I was so hoping that my message would be heard in the way I meant it to be!

The cushion shape of your setting makes a big difference in the way I see your diamond. I used the octet or double pronged head to get a similar feeling. It makes the round see a little...different, don't you think?

What a blessing to inherit a diamond...love the setting ...great taste..congrats!
