Thanks again for all the opinions.

The lady just e-mailed me and said they want to put together the proposal....but I have the stomach flu. I am in bed right now, just took a strong anti-nausa drug, and drying to hold the gatorade down. So I wrote back and told her I cannot really think about food right now, and she said she totally understood.

But I am so ready to move forward and make the decision.

Just an update:

I went with a different caterer, and for them there was not a price difference b/w family style and plated dinner. So I decided to go with the plated dinner. Thanks for your help everyone!
