That sounds like a good size. You can get the beads made in really any size- the ones in my old setting were very large. I wear anything from a 4.5-5.5, and this ring was like... a 7 or 8? *Huge*, like falling-off huge, in other words. It fit my middle finger quite well actually! So, since it was unsizeable, I had very large sizing beads put in it. While it would still spin a bit when it was the depths of winter and I was really cold, it made it possible to wear it and there was definitely no sausage finger from that setting. It took me a day or so to get used to the larger beads, but after that I seriously never noticed them. So you could, IMO, take your ring up to a size where it is for sure too loose w/o beads, and then get the larger beads put in.Sparkly Blonde|1300975762|2878878 said:Thanks everyoneLGK - that sounds like a great idea with the beads. My fingers are anywhere between a 6.25 to 7.5 depending on the day. When I just had the ering I still had the pudgy finger look but it spun like crazy and drove me nuts. Adding the band tightened it up and it doesn't spin as much but the pudgy finger look is worse
I have a plain 3mm size 8 band and that slips on and off very easily (after a few hours it indents). Should I try size 8 with beads?

Ditto. I'm not so skinny now, but even when I was *tiny*- same size as you basically in my early 20s- my fingers were still just as squishy. Smaller, but squishy. I think it has to do with bone structure a lot, I have tiny bones and thus, no knuckles and squishy, kid-like hands. I might be in my '30s but my hands like a 9 year old's! lol! if it makes you feel any better-it really nothing to do with weight! I was a professional dancer right out of conservatory in several companies. At a size 2, 105 pounds, my fingers still did this.

I'm not sure a larger size would save them anyway if my finger is swollen. I'm going to drop them off tomorrow for sizing and beads. Also the close up photo really magnifies it too.
