Feathers, feathers EVERYWHERE!

I think feathers are my new wedding obsession. I just got my hands on a HUGE box of white ostrich feathers that I would love to incorporate in my old world romantic style wedding.

My big obsession is this bouquet.

How do you think this dusty pink feather collar would look with pale pink Peonies instead of roses? Little less structured looking...

Before I found my silver manzanita trees, I wanted the plums in the large vases...but my hubby nixed that idea really quick! Your so LUCKY! I LOVE those flowers btw! Beauiful! What are your colors???

Redrose, We are going for a ivory and sage green with pink accents. The pink will show up only in the ceremony, because it doesnt really work in reception space. I am LOVING the dusty pink feathers in the bouquet. SO romantic!!

glueck I love the look of the peonies with the feathers. With a pale pink highlighted in both the flowers and the feathers, I think it could work well. Are you making your own?

I wish they went with my location better, but its english tudor...doesn''t really mesh with Louis XIV.

I think it would lovely with peonies. I would keep the faded look of those colors whether peonies or roses...that dusty pink shade is to die for.

I had a light pink bouquet with white feathers underneath it. I also used pink and white feathers (and a darker pink/purple feather in the ceremony pieces). My wedding was very marie antoinette so it really made it come together.

I''m a big fan of using feathers! The white feathers underneath my bouquet were chicken feathers to give it a light fluffy look. They used ostritch feathers in some of the other pieces.
