Hello! A few months ago, Jeff White sourced a sugarloaf sapphire at my request. It is a beautiful stone, never set, royal blue and vivid. I'm having some health issues and want to make sure that I have some leeway in my spending. I wanted to put this out there in case anyone was interested. Videos and pics available on request.

Yes- sorry to read of your health issues. Hope you are on the road to healing/recovery soon.

please do post your pictures and statistics of your sugarloaf. Vendor pics as well- if you’ve still got them?

a vivid blue sugarloaf.
:swoon:

Also interested in seeing photos and also have been on a hunt for sugarloaf blue sapphire -- would you also please post the carat weight and dimensions and price expectations?

Of course! This is the video that was sent by Jeff (it's taken in Sri Lanka, outside). Specs are: Traditional heat only. 1.56 ct. And 6.6 x 6.0 x 4.5 mm.
I paid 1750 for it not including shipping or taxes, so I'll start by asking 1500 USD. I'll consider any reasonable offers and am happy to take more pictures/send more info

From Jeff: "Very rich royal blue color, without being overly-dark in my opinion. Clarity is also surprisingly-good for a cabbed stone. Usually cabs are reserved for more included gems that might not perform as well if faceted, but this one looks much better than average in terms of clarity and would be considered pretty clean even for a faceted stone."

Thank you, everyone! It's a very pretty little stone and I'm sad to part with it (it took me forever to find), but I'll be happy if it goes to a good home. Eventually, I'll think about new projects too!

Bump. Will consider reasonable offers! I'm not eager to let go of this stone, but finances are pressing. Should I create a looptroupe link?

@maru8888777, yes, that's a good idea and it is necessary in order to sell it to someone. It is such a beautiful stone. I'm really sorry for your troubles.
