Feelers - Sholdt 18k WG bezel solitaire and matching band

I found out that I am allergic to nickel, and unfortunately am looking to probably sell a band and matching setting from Sholdt. I need to get the solitaire unset, but I expect David Klass or Sako or another excellent bench could do this without issue. I am happy to use another PS recommended bench if you'd like to buy the setting and have a preference. It is a custom, thicker shanked version of the Lola setting and has slightly more round profile.

• The rings are unplated - 18k WG alloy is 9.85% copper, 9.85% nickel, 5.2% zinc and 75% gold

Solitaire

• Holds a ~8.15 x 5mm diamond currently
• Extremely comfortable and bands fit flush
• Shank is ~2.7mm and it sits ~6.4mm off the finger at its tallest
• size 7.5
• Lightly used

Band

• The matching wedding band is ~2.7mm and sits ~1.8mm off the finger.
• I have an appraisal for it I could include for $1345
• size 7.75
• New condition

I don't have the receipts anymore but I paid ~$3.2k (with taxes) for the set. Let me know if you are interested in either or both. I will give a better price for both.

Thank you - I really appreciate the kind words a lot, missy! The set really is amazing, and I just had no idea until I learned the hard way - silly me I bought multiple pieces in 18k WG to match for my wedding day! Luckily I was able to return / or have found those items happy homes with family members.

So sorry this happened! I followed your other thread (I love bezel settings) and know you loved this set. I was actually in contact with Sholdt to do something similar, but in silver with a moissanite, but, alas, will have to wait a bit longer to have my ring made. I hope you find something just as fabulous to replace this set!

im not sure what your budget is, but I’d be happy to let this set go for significantly less than I bought it for...I’d just like for it not to be a total loss!

I'm on a shoestring budget, LOL. I sure hope you find someone who will love that awesome set!

I plan on listing the band for $550, the setting for $550, or both for $1k.

With the price of gold now...I’d like someone to reap the benefits and enjoy a set that would cost them far more retail and that’s hardly been used!
