Films/Movies you are considering watching on a big screen in a cinema

Just finished it. It was SO good! I wasn't sure what to expect, and I was surprised to be so invested in her story.

I'm happy to enjoyed it. It took a little while for me to figure out that Karla Sofía Gascón played Emilia before and after her transition. I think she did a great job with both of those roles.

I'm looking forward to the new Gladiator movie. The first one was so good, but upsetting, so I'm not sure why I want to watch the second one.

Wicked was a favorite musical of mine. I'm just not thrilled with Ariana Grande's hair color. Isn't that stupid?! I don't want to see a movie because of her hair!!!!

Wicked has very good reviews, and I may watch it as Jeff Goldblum is in it. :kiss2:

For me personally, his swagger towards the end of Independence Day is much better than Will Smith's! :kiss2:

DK :))

i want to see that new movie Blitz, buts its apple tv and we dont have that
im not buying a new streaming service for that sake of one movie
Bruce Springsteen has road diary out from the latest tour but its on Disney
i just cant justify it right now, but i would buy a dvd
i was hoping both would be on at the actual pictures :cry2:

Paddington in Peru was OK, not as good as the first 2 films.

While I was at the cinema, I saw an advertisement for White Christmas's 70th Anniversary addition to be shown on the big screen, and booked it using my phone once I have checked my diary.

Went to see Wicked today, for the projection to halt due to some technical issues, not one but twice about 45min into the film.

The first stop was in the middle of a song, and when it resumed, I could not work out what happened due to some scenes being cut out.

When it stopped again, I decided enough was enough and walked out. :roll2:

The manager was very apologetic when I requested for a refund. I got a feeling I might have been given a voucher for a future showing of my choice, as well as the refund for today's show.

The issue I have now is to try and find a date to return to the cinema to see it, as December is a very busy month for charity work. Good job the film is likely to be showing until the kids go back to school in early January 2025.

DK :))

How frustrating! I'm surprised this happens with all of the fancy technology we have!
