Well... I think we've finally nailed down the design!! After searching hundreds of photos (and PS posts), and uploading ideas to my wonderful designer at Green Lakes Jewelry in Seattle, I think we finally pieced together the ring of my dreams! Special thanks to PS's own Anne_h for sharing her beautiful Victor Canera split-shank, halo beauty... it was my ultimate inspiration.
I wanted to add a daisy to the ring because it has great sentimental value to me. My mom had daisies embroidered on her wedding dress because they were her favorite flower (and now are mine and also my daughter's...) and the very first bouquet of flowers that my husband ever gave me (when we were dating) were white daisies. They are unpretentious and "happy" flowers, and now with this ring he gets to give me a daisy that will never die.
My center stone is an August Vintage Cushion, 1.87 ct, J color, SI1. Here is the link if you wish to see it:

Here are the final CAD images. The first 2 show the "new" daisy design, and we've decided to put diamonds on the posts next to the daisy. The bottom pictures show the rest of the ring design, but ignore the daisy. We decided that one looked to "cartoonish" for this style of ring.
I hope you love it as much as I do! The next phase is wax, and we will be heading to Seattle in the next couple of weeks to check it out. I am SO excited!!
Thank you all for your inspiration and information. I have learned SO much!!
