miranda.danny: It is so pretty and dainty! I am sure she will love it.

I had posted my own thread in my search for the perfect setting and someone told me to look at the ring you created here. I love how the prongs on yours are soft and rounded. When I look at the setting on the James Allen website, the prongs are totally different (pointy and straight looking). What did you do to get those prongs?!

Thanks!!! I didn''t do anything special. In fact I was nervous about that very thing myself and spent a lot of time trying to find others on PS with the setting. I was able to come across a few posts were people either had seen the ring in person or had the ring and they seemed to suggest the prongs on the website didn''t do the actual prongs justice. I decided to take their word for it and in fact they turned out perfectly (as you can see). They really are very nicely rounded and hold the diamond very elegantly!

It looks perfect to me -- congratulations! I love the JA wedding band that matches this ering.

I just returned from Boston after meeting with Jeff Averbook for an IA. He was fantastic, very helpful and professional. I would highly recommend him to anyone! He really put me at ease, confirmed that the diamond was exactly what I bought as well as correctly and securely set in the setting!

I would also like to commend Darin and Julianna at James Allen for all there help. They were a pleasure to work with and I look forward to using them in the future.

Here are the photos that Jeff took.

Thanks again PS!

I kept looking and looking at the photo to find what you didn''t like about it and all I could notice was the incredible contrast between the arrows and the sparkle of the diamond. That''s a seriously lovely stone.

I''m still not sure what you are looking at or for, but I couldn''t find it - just my two cents.

I agree with you 100%, I think I freaked out (no I did) one night when I was looking at it... I was pretty tired and had to pull a quick look because my GF was in the other room... Those two conbinations mixed with excitetment and exhaustion from a loooong run earlier in the day didn''t play nice tricks on my head...

BTW, Thanks for all the comments!!! People can check out hand shots here: LINK
