That’s so weird because you would think there would be a note in the comments saying “clouds not shown”. If it was a grade setting inclusion then it should have been noted. That diamond is beyond beautiful...It’s spectacular...
Love the gray mother-of-pearl and pink gold! Perfect choices for the setting!
That turned out amazing @MakingTheGrade ! I love to follow your visions!
AMAZING!!
Oh yeah they are kinda sneaky about it! In the GiA report they sent me they blocked out the Gia number in white but ALSO blocked out the “additional comment” section where they would write that. Took many chat and email exchanges to finally get them to send me what it said there. They still wouldn’t send me the original until I bought it and it came with the diamond. I can understand blocking the Gia number but blocking the Additional comments just seemed strange and counter effectual. But it worked out well in the end! (JA was the vendor if anyone was curious. Everyone was nice enough, I just found the policy entirely bizarre).
That sounds shady to me @MakingTheGrade.
It doesn’t seem legal to block out comments on a GIA document!
In any case you have that gorgeous diamond!
Diamonds go darker in different lighting so that doesn’t sound bad at all! The experts say well cut diamonds go dark in direct sunlight. II think they block the numbers so that people can’t get it cheaper from a small company that didn’t put the investment into the photos and videos etc. Which makes sense. But I don’t know why you’d block Additional comments.
Here it is in direct sunlight. Doesn’t look cloudy to me but does look darker. But the fire! It’s like a rainbow in a storm cloud.
You’re not going to get any eye contact today at work! Haha

Just for fun some color comparisons.
Top to bottom: O-P, G, Fancy light brownish yellow, fancy grey.
I think it’s neat the fancy gray doesn’t read yellow at all. Nothing wrong with yellow and yellow tints (I own them too after all!) but it’s super cool to me own a diamond that’s not white but also isn’t yellow.

Love the color comparisons- very very interesting seeing the grey with no yellow in there.
And shale's expression is priceless
