finally have pictures of my ring to show! cushion brilliant from mark @ ERD!

my engagement ring is a cushion brilliant that my fiance purchased from mark at ERD. mark was so great to work with, i would really recommend him to anyone looking for a stone. the setting is from ID jewelry. we worked with luann and yuketiel, both were great as well. yuketiel took it upon himself to coordinate with mark with getting the stone set, which took a huge weight off us, especially since we do not live close to new york city. we were so lucky to be able to work with 2 great vendors. i love my setting, but we will be getting it reset soon.

so onto the good stuff! these are the same pictures that i posted on LIW. with my new digital camera though, i will most likely be taking more pictures. i can''t wait to take shots in the sunlight, and will of course post them here! in the meantime, please enjoy the ones i''ve taken so far thanks for looking!

aw thanks everyone for the beautiful wishes and compliments!

so the reason for the reset is that i think the head is a little too high which makes me nervous. i'm also starting medical school in the fall which involved a lot of hands-on work (anatomy lab anyone?), so getting it reset for practical reasons is one. the other is that my fiance has two family stones we can use to put in the setting. we don't want a three stone, so we'll be getting a graduated melee setting. we're going to talk to a jeweler tomorrow to get some ideas. i'm especially excited about customizing the profile of the ring with my fiance. for once we have similar ideas on something i love him to death, i cant wait to get married!
