How exciting! The ring is beautiful!!! I love it when the guys as the girl's mom for help, as long as it's a PSer, that is!

My older daughter's husband did ask me for help, and that turned out great! Also a 1 ct H stone (from Whiteflash) in a platinum solitaire! The younger one is waiting on a proposal now, but he has a family ring, so she is kind of sad I don't get to help him pick one out! I told her to be happy with whatever it is, and maybe he will allow her to reset the diamond after awhile if she doesn't like it or if it is too small. But he spoke with us on New Year's weekend about his plans, and it is now SEPTEMBER and we are still waiting...so I feel your waiting pains exactly!!!

Last Fall my future son in law asked me to help him find a diamond for my daughter and of course I came here so had to come back and share since he he FINALLY proposed today
