Finally- I picked out the setting for my black spinel!

Hello, everyone!

I haven't posted in a while, but I promised to let you all know when I was getting the black spinel that Doug at Bespoke cut for me set...and I finally am! I talked to Chris and Mark at ERD, and they are sending me a label to overnight my stone to them. I chose the "Jeanelle" setting- it is really perfect for what I wanted! Not too dainty, but elegant. Chris also said they could make a head in the size to fit my spinel, since it's pretty large. I'm so excited! They should receive the stone by Tuesday or Wednesday of next week, and then Chris said it would take about 2-3 weeks for it to be finished. I will post pics of the final product as soon as I can, but here is the setting from the ERD website...

Forgive me for not remembering...what metal and what color will you use? I like the setting - its simple but elegant.

No worries- it's been a month or two since I posted. I am getting 18K white gold...

I like that setting with your stone. Let us know how it goes with ERD. I'm always curious to hear about the progress of custom pieces.

Also, I noticed that Doug has fewer stones in his inventory lately. Is there a reason for that?
